BTW, love your photoblog. There’d be a lot more to say about scanning B&W negatives, as you have done in some recent posts. Scan as negative or positive doesn’t make a whole lot of difference to me, but spending time to adjust your scanning software’s settings sure does!

I agree in general about scanning software, but the software I use really has very few settings of any merit.
