Jerome, thanks for the kind words. Keeping up with a picture a day on film isn’t that difficult once you get into the habit. I usually shoot two rolls a week, develop them in a batch on Sat., start scanning on Sunday and continue throughout the week.

I see what you mean by “smoky.” I don’t even miss saturated blacks anymore. :-)
The continuity of tone is amazing. Totally stepless.
Do you scan on a flatbed? Have you used (or heard of using) oil on the platen?
