Apparently I’m using a lot Ilford products these days, the Tmax developer aside. Note to Ilford; please lower the price of DDX. My puritanical side would get a kick out of running an Ilford process from film to print, but Tmax developer is still a couple of bucks cheaper.

Hi Matt, I’ve decided to try some of the slower Ilford silver grain films, PAN F,FP 4, DELTA 100. What would be your tips for EI versus dev time for getting negatives that are scanner friendly?
    Thanks

    Marek,

It’s been a while since I’ve used FP4, but I remember having pretty good luck developing it in D76 following the box times.

I’ve only shot a half dozen rolls of Delta 100, but pulling it back to 50 and developing in Tmax Dev diluted 1+5 for 5.5 minutes at 68 degrees seems to be working well.

    Matt

Careful, Matt. That’s just plain anti-American.

I better retract any anti-Kodak statements for the patriotic act gets me.
