This shot reminds me a bit some of HCB’s landscapes - good composition, nice mood and a technical quality that could be better… Actually, what got me thinking has been the serial number of this shot, which ends with “B” - probably this means a second version… but the question is: have you already made more than three and a half million pictures in your life Matt?

Attribute the technical quality to shooting from a moving train during a snow storm. This is one of those cases where I think higher technical quality would lessen the emotional impact. Explanation of the s/n to follow.
