I’m not sure that I can think up a way to use any of these in my SOFOBOMO book, except for that first one, perhaps. Unlike Colin, I have a hard time staying on topic. There’s a bit of self-doubt at play, but mostly it’s a matter of photographic habit. Photography is a way of letting my mind wander, so staying on topic scratches a different, less insistent itch.

I’m sure I missed it, and perhaps I’m being lazy by not looking in your archives, but what in the world does SOFOBOMO stand for?

  2. Black Andy says:

    Ah.

In an unrelated coincidence, the stock ticker symbol for my employer is SOFO. Most of the dlls in our products are SonicFoundry..dll. Naturally, we can’t actually be bothered to write out ‘SonicFoundry’ in all our emails, so we use SOFO all the time…

the silhouettes are cool! there’s a show at the hammer in l.a. that has silhouettes right now.

    hope you’re well, mate.

The silhouettes look like a competing species of overlord. This could get interesting.

The silhouettes are actually for Child Abuse Awareness Month: http://www.childwelfare.gov/preventing/preventionmonth/

There are a number of them spread around town.
