   I find this shot incredibly chilling. The combination of mist/haze and the aggressive chopping off of heads is quite powerful. Nicely done.

   I don’t know if comments on posts this old even get read but anyway, I’m working my way back through your archive as a displacement activity for revision. You’ve taken some remarkable photos over the years and I’m also really enjoying your various musings on gear and technique.

   Matthew,

   I do indeed read - and appreciate - comments on older posts. The DMZ between North and South Korea is the scariest place I’ve ever been; this photo just give a hint of the feel of the place.
