Hi Matt,
I’ve been lurking on your blog for a while, I’m a big fan and also a rangefinder user. Process question: do you make prints of your photos or do you mostly aim for the web? If prints, darkroom or digital? I used to have a darkroom in my parents house years ago (decades actually) and I just don’t get the same satisfaction from attempting film->scan->photoshop->epson.
Question 2 - ever get into C41 BW films like XP2?
Paul, up until about a year ago, I had an enlarger and an HP printer that I used for printing scans. I’m without either now, so I’m on the lookout for a new printer, probably an espon 2400. There is a disused darkroom at work that I’m thinking about trying to get acess to.
I’ve never tried the C41 B&W films. There never seemed to be a point, since my scanner (an old scan dual IV) doesn’t have digital ICE. And I enjoy developing B&W.
The pic on the front page of your blog (the kid with the crazy hair) is a hoot.
